 as plain text. Any formatting of the text is removed. This is equivalent to pasting formatted text into Notepad then copying it back out again; or using "Paste Special" in Microsoft Word

PureText+ is an Apache 2.0 Licensed open source replica of PureText. In 2011 Melloware wanted to change the icon of PureText and realized the application was not open source. A Google Code project was started and released written from scratch in C# .NET 2.0 with an icon that looks good on all version of windows. It was programmed by Melloware.
