Rural area under Jhalda–I block consists of ten gram panchayats, viz. Ichag, Jhalda–Darda, Mathari–Khamar, Tulin, Ilu–Jargo, Kalma, Noyadih, Hensahatu, MarumOsina and Pusti. There is no urban area under this block. Jhalda police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is in Mashina.

Jhalda–II block

Rural area under Jhalda–II block consists of nine gram panchayats, viz. Bamniya–Belyadih, Chitmu, Nowahatu, Begunkodar, Hirapur Adardih, Rigid, Chekya, Majhidih and Tatuara. There is no urban area under this block. Jhalda police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is in Kotsila.

Rural area under Arsha block consists of eight gram panchayats, viz. Arsha, Chatuhansa, Hensla, Puara, Beldih, Hetgugui, Mankiary and Sirkabad. There is no urban area under this block. Arsha and Purulia Muffasil police stations serve this block. Headquarters of this block is in Sirkabad.

Bagmundi block

Rural area under Bagmundi block consists of eight gram panchayats, viz. Ajodhya, Beergram, Matha, Sindri, Baghmundi, Burda–Kalimati, Serengdih and Tunturi–Suisa. There is no urban area under this block. Bagmundi police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is in Pathardihi.

Balarampur block

Rural area under Balarampur block consists of seven gram panchayats, viz. Balarampur, Bela, Genrua, Tentlow, Baraurma, Darda and Ghatbera–Kerowa. Urban area under this block consists of one census town: Balarampur. Balarampur police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is in Basgarh.

Barabazar block
