Puss are a musical duo
formed in Stockholm
in 2001. They play live bitpop
using two old-school chubby Game Boy
s and the Little Sound DJ tracker. Their name comes from the Swedish word puss meaning "small kiss". The duo consist of LayDJ (aka Josefin Karlsson) and Tobi-Wan (aka Tobias von Hofsten). They released their first album, entitled We Are Puss
, in 2001. Since that time they have given numerous live performances and have released an EP
single, "Master and Slave". It is their first work featuring vocals and thus non–Game Boy sounds.
