Professor Qazi Abdul Sattar was born on 8 February, 1933 at Machreta near Sitapur. He is an Urdu
Novelist and Short Story writer.
He has penned down multiple Urdu novels such as Shab Gazida, Dara Shikoh, Salahuddin Ayyubi, Khalid Ibn-e-Waleed, Ghalib and many more.
Most of his novels are written on historical perspective.
He was also a Professor of Urdu Department at Aligarh Muslim University
before retiring in 1991.
