However in January AD 198 Lu Bu attacked Yuan Shu, who fled to Cao Cao, stole Qiao off Liu Bei, and a few minor places of Cao Cao. 4 months later Cao Cao attacked all of Lu Bu's villages simultaneously, including Qiao, which was also his second main attack, and Cao Cao continued doing great by winning every battle, and Cao Cao personally defeated, captured and chose of the beheading of Lu Bu, who was beheaded by his cousin Xiahou Dun
