Quebec Autoroute 31

Autoroute 31 is a short north-south Autoroute
(or freeway) serving the city of Joliette, Quebec
. It is only 14 km (8.7 mi), serving as a means to connect Joliette with Autoroute 40
, and in turn to Montreal
, and other points on the Autoroute network.
A-31 is also known as the Autoroute Antonio-Barrette
, named after the late politician from Joliette who briefly served as Premier of Quebec in 1960.
The southern end of the road is located at Exit 122 of Autoroute 40

. This junction includes Route 131
to the southeast, proceeding to Lavaltrie.
This Junction (Highway 131 and Quebec Autoroute 40) has an exit for slow moving vehicles that come on via Highway 131. (tractors as an example.)
