Biography

The future Queen Jeongseong was born on 7 December 1692. She was the daughter of Seo Jong-je (서종제) and Lady Lee. In November 1703, at the age of ten, she married the eight-year-old Prince Yeoning

Queen Jeongseong died at Changdeok Palace

 on 15 February 1757. Her death distressed her stepson, Crown Prince Sado, contributing to his declining mental condition. Queen Jeongseong had no children.
