are said to be about Nash.
They started presenting a radio show in September 2006 on BBC 6 Music
, called Queens of Noize Sonic Safari. Firstly presented the show from 12:00am-2:00am Saturday into Sunday. Then from 07th April 2007 the show moved to a Saturday afternoon time slot 4:00pm-6:00pm until 31st May 2008 when the slot was taken over by Lauren Laverne
. The Queens then hosted a two-hour show on BBC 6 Music 12:00am-2:00am Friday into Saturday from June 2008 until April 2009. As well their own show they also presented the Listener 6 Mix on Sunday nights 8:00pm-10:00pm between Nov 2007 until Sept 2008, then took over the 6 Mix for a time.
Their controversial appearance on Loose Lips
is widely thought to have played a part towards the show's collapse, and the consequent disbandment of Derek Acorah
and co.
In June 2008, they became the second guest presenters of Big Brother's Big Mouth.
