. Throughout the weeks, the young man sang in a jazzy and electro musical universe. With a sole pre-nomination and a victory in the semi-final against Claire-Marie, he won the final on February 15, 2008, with 52.6% of votes, and 47.4% for Mathieu. He won 1,000,000 euros, 200,000 of them immediately available.
On August 18, 2008, he released his debut album, Duel, a double album, which was #2 in France and #1 in Belgium (Wallonia). It contains many cover versions of 1980s hits, such as "C'est l'amour
