Quest for the Grail is a collectible card game
based on Arthurian literature and folklore published by Stone Ring Games and designed by Dave Nalle
. It originally appeared in a single-pack Preview Edition in 1995 which was followed by a much larger card set in Starter decks and Booster Packs in the Limited Edition in 1996. Other releases included a number of promotional cards distributed through magazines and at conventions. There was a planned supplement called Knights of the Isles which was never officially released, though some playtest cards have been circulated. The cards were notable for their extensive use of antique art by artists like Arthur Rackham
and Howard Pyle
along with original art in a similar style.
