RSS Bandit is an open source

aggregator based on the Microsoft .NET framework
. It was originally released as a code sample in a series of articles the Extreme XML column written by Dare Obasanjo on MSDN in 2003. The articles were Building a Desktop News Aggregator and Revamping the RSS Bandit application. A number of readers of the article liked the product so much that the code samples evolved into a fully featured Open Source project. It is currently hosted on SourceForge and the primary contributors are Dare Obasanjo and Torsten Rendelmann
