in 1973.
His precocious vocation leads him to leave his homeland at the age of 16 to go to Paris
where he studies at the school of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
In 1995, after a training period of several months in the workshops of Dior
and Chanel
, he goes back to Beirut
, where he soon makes a name as a designer of evening gowns and wedding dresses.
2008 marks the return of the designer in the capital of Haute Couture where he sets up at 38 Boulevard Raspail.
Since 2009, he is the guest of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. Each year, his collections are included in the official calendar of Couture fashion shows.
Rabih Kayrouz's fashion is pragmatic but dares using the codes and know-how of Haute-couture to create ambitious but comfortable ready-to-wear collections directly in line with the requirements of urban lifestyle.
