Rachel Marley

Rachel Claire Marley is an Australian singer and actress. She is the daughter of Grant Marley and Kathy Marley. Marley graduated St Vincent's College, Potts Point in Sydney and is currently studying at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore.
Marley grew up in Sydney and was inspired to become a singer from a young age. Her first major role came in The Sound of Music as Marta. She starred alongside Lisa McCune

After performing as Marta in Sydney, Marley won the prize role of Annie, in the Australian production of Annie which premiered in December 2000. Marley starred alongside Anthony Warlow
. Marley performed the song Tomorrow at Carols In The Domain in December 2000 after arriving by helicopter.
For her performances in both the Sound of Music and Annie, Marley was awarded the Young Entertainer of the Year award in 2002 (Ricky May Heart Award).
Marley has been attending Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore. Recent performances have seen her playing the nine-year-old Guido in a production of Nine. And Olive Ostrovsky in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. A highlight of which was Marley's performance of The I Love You Song. In November 2010 Marley played three roles in The Heidi Chronicles; Jill, Lisa and Denise. Marley has also appeared in productions of Blood Wedding, Sweet Charity and Siren.
Marley is currently in the final year of her study, and in February 2012 will be starring as Martha in Spring Awaking. This shall be in Singapore with the Pandemonium production company.
