Ralph Allen School in Combe Down
, Bath, England is a non-denominational, co-educational school for 11-18 year olds.
The school was built and named in 1957 to commemorate Ralph Allen
(1693-1764). It opened in 1958. Events to mark the 50th anniversary have so far included a free celebration lunch for all pupils, a rocket launch for local primary school pupils, and an open day with a music concert attended by former pupils of the school from 1958.
In 2004, the school gained specialist
Science College
status, and has also been recognised by Artsmark
