While attending UCLA, Park co-founded the LCC Asian American Theater and the coalition of artists known as Proper Gander in Los Angeles. Park made his acting debut in 2003 in the short film Dragon of Love, which won the Best Short Film at the 2003 Hawaii International Film Festival
