The brook that flows from Bije Ransaren on the east side is called Saxån and leads to the big lake, Ransaren in Vilhelmina, Sweden. Bije Ransaren is called the upper Ransaren because of this bigger lower Ransaren. To visit the Norwegian Ranseren or the Swedish Bije Ransaren you have to walk about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Stekenjokk in Vilhelmina, Sweden.
