division of the Toyota Motor Corporation
beginning in 2005, the race is now referred to as the Lexus Raven Run Stakes.
This race is named for the 374 acres (1.5 km²) nature sanctuary outside Lexington, Kentucky
. There was also a three-year-old colt called Raven Run who, while vying for the lead at a Keeneland race, died on the track in 2000.
