. With a crew of only eight people including Varma, filming for Dongala Mutha was launched on 9 February and was completed within five days on 13 February. Initially RGV announced that there was not a budget of the movie; however, he finally revealed original budget of the movie which is just Rs 6.5 lakh.

Later Ravi Teja appeared in Veera, before agreeing to work in Nippu under the direction of Gunasekhar. The shooting of the movie started on May 23, 2011, and, as of November 2011, YVS Chowdary is still producing this film. Teja also signed a to work in Fashion Designer under the direction of Vamsi.
