) is a former Minister of Family, Youth and Sport in Ukraine

Ravil Safiullin was born in a Tatar family. Prior to his ministerial position, Safiullin was the president of Professional Football League of Ukraine
in 2000-2008. He is still the Honorary President of PFL Ukraine.
At 23 he finished the medical institute in Donetsk
as a doctor-hygienist, epidemiologist. From 1977 to 1993 he worked at medical service. From 1994 to 2000 he worked the vice-president of FC Shakhtar Donetsk
. In 2000 he was elected as the president of Professional Football League of Ukraine
