Major-General Ravinder Singh s/o Harchand Singh (born 1965) is the current Chief of the Singapore Army

Singh served as a regular in the Singapore Army from his enlistment in 1982 until 2009, when he left the service to join the defence ministry. He is the highest-ranking officer to have rejoined Singapore's military after reaching the end of his or her military contract. He was promoted to the rank of Major-General on 1 July 2011.
Singh is an SAF Overseas Scholarship recipient and his alma mater include the University of Oxford
and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
.
Singh is the first non-Chinese Singaporean Chief of Army since the post was created and the first non-Chinese to hold a significant leadership role since 1982.
