The Real Medicine Foundation is a disaster relief group that attempts to provide aid long after the disaster occurred. The organization was started during the aftermath of the 2004 Tsunami
. The founder, Martina Fuchs, began by creating a small clinic in Sri Lanka. Afterwords, she founded the organization to back it. Real Medicine Foundation currently works in India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar/Burma, Armenia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Uganda, Sudan, Peru, and the US.
The Real Medicine Foundation has built two clinics in Haiti so far and plans to build another, mobile one. The foundation is working with local groups to get a permanent Haitian staff.
