Red Nine is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe
. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man
#264 (May 1985).
, but proved to be more of a nuisance to the webslinger, and was injured after crashing through a store window. He later confronted Spider-Man again, during which Spider-Man destroyed Red Nine's costume, though Spider-Man later learned that Wallace helped a group of elderly patients against an abusive hospital administrator.
In Avengers: The Initiative, Red Nine appears in Camp Hammond, as an official recruit for the Initiative

After the invasion, Red Nine was assigned to Georgia's Initiative team.
