on federal-provincial agreements where the Court unanimously upheld the validity of the Agricultural Marketing Act. The Act was part of a national agricultural marketing scheme agreed upon by both the federal and provincial governments.

After the decision was passed down, the federal and provincial government entered into a similar agreement on a national marketing program for chickens.
