Renaissance Academy is a charter school in Phoenixville,Pennsylvania. This school was founded in 1999 by a group of teachers who wanted to make a difference in children's lives. Up until 2009 Renaissance Academy was an "Edison" charter school. They later broke away from Edison and became "Renaissance Academy Charter School" serving knowledge to over 900 kids as a small k-12 school. Renaissance academy is located on 40 pinecrest street Phoenixville, PA but will be moving by august 2012 due to being to small for their first building after just 10 years.

Most of the children who go to Renaissance Academy come from the West Chester, Philadelphia, Norristown, Potstown area of Pennsylvania.
