Renfrewshire North and West is a constituency

located in the historic county
of Renfrewshire
in the west central Lowlands
. It was first created for the 2011 elections
. The constituency elects one Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP)
by the first past the post method of election.
Renfrewshire North and West is also one of nine constituencies in the West of Scotland electoral region
, which elects seven additional members, in addition to the nine constituency MSPs, to produce a form of proportional representation
for the region as a whole.
The constituency replaces the West Renfrewshire
constituency which has existed from the inception of the Scottish Parliament. The constituency is divided between Renfrewshire North and West and a second new constituency, Renfrewshire South
.
Annabel Goldie is the leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Derek Mackay is Leader of Renfrewshire Council and Stuart Clark is a teacher.
