Daniel "Dan" Renton Skinner (born 1973 in London, England, and sometimes credited simply as Renton Skinner) is a British actor and comedy
writer, working in stage, film and television. Renton is a member of the popular British five-man sketch troupe Dutch Elm Conservatoire
. The group were nominated for the prestigious Perrier award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2005.

He appeared as Angelos on series 6 of Shooting Stars
as a permanent member of Team B (using the name Angelos Epithemiou) replacing Johnny Vegas
. In series 7 and 8, he replaced George Dawes
as the score keeper.
He appeared in My Family as a policeman in the episode "Desperately Stalking Susan".
He also had a part in episode 4 of series one of Mongrels
as an American reporter.
Skinner appeared on BBC Three show World Cup 2010's Most Shocking Moments with other celebrities reviewing and making jokes on the 2010 Fifa World Cup's most shocking moments. This is one of the first main appearances on TV since being the character Angelos on Shooting Stars.
Renton used Angelos' character and took him on tour within the UK, titled 'Angelos Epithemiou & Friends Christmas Show'; due to popular demand, venues introduced additional dates throughout December 2010.
On 12 February 2011, he appeared on Soccer AM
, making subsequent appearances on 28 May 2011 and 26 November 2011.
Between 15 August and 18 August 2011, Renton appeared as Angelos Epithemiou in BBC Radio 1
's Fun & Filth Cabaret, part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He ended each of the shows with a Hardtalk
style interview.
