Rhys Griffiths is a Welsh
footballer, currently playing for the Welsh Premier League club Llanelli
. He is also the captain of the club.
Griffiths is a six-time winner of the Welsh Premier Golden Boot award. Due to his prolific goal scoring in the Welsh Premier League over the seasons he is known as The Fireman.

season, he scored 188 goals from 237 appearances, second only to Marc Lloyd-Williams on the league's all-time list, and has been named in the Welsh Premier league team of the season for the past five years.

Career
Griffiths played for the first time in the League of Wales in 2001-02 for Cwmbran Town. At the beginning of the following season he moved to Haverfordwest County. In July 2004, Griffiths switch to Carmarthen Town before he signed with Port Talbot TownPort Talbot Town F.C.
