Rhys Prichard was believed to have been born in the house 33 High Street Llandovery, It was owned by his parents during the time of his birth and is highly likely that he was born in his parents home. Later in his life he built a larger mansion house on the same plot of land as his parents, but this was demolished in the mid-20th century.
