Ribeira Grande is a ribeira
(stream) that flows in the northeastern part of the island of Santo Antão in Cape Verde
. The stream flows from west-southwest to east-northeast is almost dry and flows during rainy days. It is the longest stream on the island and its total length is approximately 25 km,
