Ricardo Peláez Linares is a former Mexican footballer

Even though Ricardo started his career with America, he has claimed to be a boyhood fan of not only Club América

as well. He is the leading scorer in Necaxa's history with 138 goals since his arrival in 1987 and his departure in 1997.
Pelaez moved back with America for one year to which after wards joined rival Guadalajara in the winter of 1998. In 2000 he was forced into retirement due to various knee injuries at the age of 35.
Peláez scored 172 goals and registered 40 assists in his career.
He was commemorated in Necaxa's new facilities in Aguascalientes
when a training field was named after him.
