in 1964, and the Henry Norris Russell Lectureship
in 1966.
Richard Tousey was working for NASA for most of his life. He built cameras to put into captured V-2 rockets, these cameras took pictures of the sun and other Stellar masses. When Richard Tousey was not working he studied nature and he liked to take pictures and audio recordings of Birds and trees. He was a great pioneer in the field of space discovery. In his later years he was a kind caring man, devoted to his family.
