was created in 2004 as a vehicle for involving Richmond students in faculty research and in publicizing faculty research results.
It is not clear that it still exists because, as of April 2011, the website http://research.richmond.edu that was created for it no longer exists, and the one mention of the institute on the University of Richmond website points to the dead link.
