Eric "Rick" Forrester Jr. is a fictional character from the daytime soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful

would resume the role of Rick after a 12 year absence once he wraps up his time as JR Chandler on the ABC Soap All My Children
. Young first aired on September 26, the Monday following the TV final of AMC.
Rick is the son of Eric Forrester
and Brooke Logan Forrester
. As a child he shot Grant Chambers, but repressed the memory. In his late teens to early 20s. He was married to Amber Forrester twice. He has also had relationships with Caitlin Ramirez
before leaving for Paris to work at Forrester International. After Nick Marone blackmailed Eric into selling him the company Rick returned from Paris and develops an antagonistic relationship with Ridge due to his past treatment of Brooke, his mother, which causes family conflicts that leads to Rick romancing his stepfather, Ridge Forrester's daughters Phoebe and Steffy and a brief engagement to Ridge's ex-wife Taylor Hayes. During a fight with Phoebe while driving they crash and she dies in his arms. Eventually everyone forgives him, but he was targeted by Thomas
who made attempts in hurting Rick by blowing up his car and burning his house. Rick tries to seduce Jackie Marone Knight but fails. Rick returned from Paris, on September 26, he attended Liam's bachelor party and later followed Liam home when he saw him leaving with Steffy.
