The High School is an academically apt school like the rest of the school's in the corporation. The school's academic team made it to state numerous times including the 2008-9 school year for the United States Academic Decathlon making fourth at state, in 2009-10, and again in the 2010-11 school year. The school's band program has also been a prestigious one in past years. The Golden Ingot Marching Band can be viewed in the Saint Patrick's Day
