and added two assists for the Admirals 4-2 win. He registered an assist in four out of his five games with Norfolk
Rob chipped in a season-high three points (1 goal - 2 assists), including the game-winning goal, on October 23, 2007 against Springfield in the Admirals 4-2 win and scored four goals in a six game stretch from March 12, to 22, 2008.
On June 8, 2009, Klinkhammer was signed as a free agent with the IceHogs NHL affiliate, the Chicago Blackhawks
, to a two-year entry level contract.
Following an injury to Chicago forward Patrick Kane
, Klinkhammer was recalled from Rockford to make his NHL debut on December 10, 2010, suiting up with the Blackhawks for a home game win against the Dallas Stars
