counties (later the 101st district and now the 95th district). While in office, Brawley was elected the President of the National Republican Legislators Association and was appointed National Legislator of the Year in 1995.

Brawley's accomplishments were numerous. For 18 years Brawley's campaign slogan was "Together We Can." That is the concept he attempted to utilize when he helped the Mooresville and Statesville School Systems start working together, when he helped establish the South Iredell Industrial Park, when he won grants for water and sewer to exit 36 and Race Park developments, and when he got roads paved and widened. Brawley's goal was to help the community work together for progress.

Brawley is running for re-election in Iredell County's 95th district. He believes the infrastructure of the community is lagging behind the population explosion and campaigns on reinforcing that infrastructure.
