Robin Burke

Robin Burke is a British media creative and founder of Cops and Robbers Creative. His professional career in the UK began as a writer/producer/broadcaster on national radio and quickly extended into television. Robin currently lives in Los Angeles where he works in the Film industry.
Robin started out as a DJ on the local student radio station Oxygen FM in Oxford when he was 14. After 2 years, Robin was offered a job as a DJ on rival regional station, Fox FM
.
- Virgin Radio (now known as Absolute Radio)
After another 2 years, and at the age of 18, Robin moved to London to begin a 3-year degree in film & television production at the University of Westminster
in London. It was at this point that he was talent-spotted by national radio station Virgin Radio
and offered his own nightly radio show – where he became the youngest DJ on national radio.
Over the next 7 years, Robin moved to the weekend breakfast show and then weekday early breakfast while also covering the afternoon and drive-time shifts. Along with writing, producing and presenting his own show, he also conducted interviews with musicians and celebrities (including Kaiser Chiefs
, The Fray
, Jordan
and The Killers) and presented on-stage at live events such as The Royal Albert Hall and V Festival
.
- Hit40UK on XM Satellite Radio
Between 2005 & 2006, Robin was the writer/producer/host of the Hit40UK
chart show, which was syndicated from London every week on Worldspace
and XM Satellite radio. He also represented the networks as a live presenter at UK based events including Live8, The Brits and at Abbey Road
recording sessions.
- Voice Overs
Since 2002, Robin has been a recognisable voice-over artist for TV and radio commercials and promos. He was represented by Wise Buddah Talent between 2004 and 2009. He is currently represented for voice-over work by Voiceovers Ltd. in the UK and DPN Talent in the US.

television as a continuity writer/announcer and was on-air on the network's film channel, Film4
. After moving into the promo department as a writer/producer/editor - he has since worked Channel5 and BBC
, making high-profile on-air promos for the networks.
Robin left the BBC in 2010 to relocate to the US and now is a film trailer writer/creative editor - working with movie studios in Los Angeles.
