- He received the Muskegon Community Foundation Award/Scholarship for volunteering in his community, Muskegon County. He came up with an idea of producing and directing a short film dealing with the subject of child abuse. Rocky directed/produced and showcased local actors in his film. It was shown at the local high school to raise money for the Child Abuse Council. The event was a huge success and all the proceeds from the donations went to help out victims of child abuse.
