Rod Nash Racing is a V8 Supercar racing entity, owned by Rod Nash. Nash continues to own a V8 Supercar Racing Entitlement Contract and his #55 runs on the flanks of the Ford Performance Racing

's 2002 comeback at Bathurst. In 2006, they had a new driver in Steve Owen and utilising Paul Morris Motorsport engineering after spending a few seasons with Perkins Engineering. In the first round, Owen collapsed behind the wheel from heat exhaustion and was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons. Owen later scored several top 15 positions and had a competitive run with Tony Longhurst at the Bathurst 1000. In 2007, Owen once again drove with the team campaigning in an older specification VZ Commodore with the car being prepared an run by the International Racing Cars Australia team. They became a privateer team over the season as well, losing support from Holden
. The team struggled at the beginning of the season, but started to find their form at the Bathurst 1000
. Owen finished 19th while the team finished just outside the top 10 in 11th in the teams' championship.
In 2008 Nash switched the team preparation from IRCA to Tony D'Alberto Racing
. Tony D'Alberto shared the Commodore with Jason Bargwanna
in 2008's L&H 500 and Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. 2009 saw Andrew Thompson join D'Alberto for the endurance races. After two seasons together, Nash had a new opportunity with Ford Performance Racing
and Tony D'Alberto Racing
and Nash separated.
For the 2010 season Nash linked with Ford Performance Racing
to prepare a FG Falcon with continued sponsorship from the Bottle O chain of liquor stores, with the car to be driven by Paul Dumbrell
