Roha is a small town in Maharashtra
state of India
, 120 km south-east of Mumbai
. Many chemical industries have opened up their manufacturing bases here. Roha is located between the banks of the Kundalika River
and the hills of Kalasgiri. It has a population of over 40,000.

is at south most point. It is off Baombay Goa Highway, taking a detour at Kolad.
Roha is very well known for its Dhavir Temple. Dhavir Maharaj is the prime deity of Roha. Every year the town celebrates Navaratri Festival by having a 10 day Festival at the Dhavir Temple which ends on the 10th day - "Dasra" during Navaratri. On the following day of Dasra, Palkhi of Dhavir Maharaj is taken through the town where it visits each and every house for the Aarti. It is presumably, only after Durga, Kokatta, that the palkhi is given Government Salaami (Salutation) with full honours.
It is the terminal of Central Railway.
