integrated public transport system, and is the Brisbane terminus
for most Queensland long-distance trains.
The station has a total of ten platforms
. Platform 10 is for long-distance train travel within Queensland (including the Tilt Train). Platforms 1 and 2 make up the Roma Street Busway Station
— while the other side of platform 2 is used for long-distance train travel, by the CountryLink XPT
train, to Sydney. The remainder of the platforms serve the Citytrain suburban network. All Citytrain services, including the Airtrain
, stop at Roma Street.
Pedestrian access to the station is through the ground floor entrance of the Brisbane Transit Centre

Roma Street Station currently serves all suburban, interurban and long distance trains. The platforms at Brisbane's Roma Street Station are numbered from 2 to 10, with 2 being the easternmost platform and 10 being one of the westernmost. However during peak hour, some services may use different platforms from the ones listed below.
