, Equatorial Guinea, as the new Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ebebiyin in Equatorial Guinea. The Bishop-elect was born in Mikomeseng-Kie Ntem, Equatorial Guinea, in 1957, and was ordained a priest in 1995. Until his appointment as Bishop-elect, a former Bishop, Juan Matogo Oyana, C.M.F.
, had been serving as Apostolic Administrator since the end of the last Bishop's period in office four and a half years ago in summer 2006.
