I was Ron Grant's third grade teacher. He was a marvelous student, even then. We decided that year to have class officers, even though we were an elementary school classroom. Ron gave an excellent speech, promising pencils to the whole classroom, should he be elected. He was, and he made good his promise. At that point, I decided he would eventuallly become President of the United States, but I have to say that AOL was pretty darned close! He was just a wonderful boy, organized, outgoing, wise beyond his years, yet polite and charming. I am so heppy to learn that he has done so well. Judy Goldstein, retired teacher.
