Rorgon I of Maine

Rorgon I or Rorico I (also Rorgo or Rorich; d. 16 June 839 or 840) was the first Count of Maine of the Rorgonid dynasty, which he founded. He was Count of Rennes

 conferred on Rorgon the countship of Rennes in 819. In 824, he founded the Abbey of Saint-Maur de Glanfeuil. Rorgon married a lady named Bilichild, and had three sons named Rorgon II of Maine, Gauzfrid of Neustria and Joscelin, Bishop of Paris.

He also had a daughter who married Bernard of Poitou.

The necrologies of the Abbey of Saint-Denis gave the date of his death, but did not specify a year.
