The Round Rock Higher Education Center (RRHEC) is the official name of Texas State University-San Marcos’ campus in Round Rock, Texas
. Located just 20 miles (32.2 km) north of Austin
, it is informally referred to as "Texas State's Round Rock Campus." Construction began on the current campus in 2004 and opened its doors for the Fall semester in 2005. The campus hosts upper-level classes for eight bachelor's degrees and courses for eleven master's degrees and seven post bachelor's certificate programs.

Academics
A student can earn one of eleven master's degrees or seven post bachelor's certificate's by taking courses solely at the Round Rock Higher Education Center. The student does not have to attend classes at Texas State's main campus in San Marcos. The RRHEC also offers upper level courses to allow students to complete one of eight bachelor's degrees. Lower level courses for the bachelor's degrees can be taken at Texas State's San Marcos campus or transfer the courses from a community college or junior college.
