Roxburgh Park is bounded in the west by the road skirting the Greenvale reservoir, in the east by the Craigieburn railway line, and in the south by Somerton Road.
As of 2005 development has progressed, with the construction of more child care centres, a retirement village, an Islamic centre, as well as improvement of roads. The Roxburgh Park railway station
opened on 30 September 2007.
Most of Roxburgh Park's fame came with widely screened TV commercials throughout the mid-1990s

History
Much of what is now Roxburgh Park was formerly used as agricultural land and Roxburgh Park was only developed by the Urban Land Corporation in 1992 (not unlike the new towns in green wedges of Britain). The commercial hub of the suburb is located on Somerton Road (highways 35 and 58).As of 2005 development has progressed, with the construction of more child care centres, a retirement village, an Islamic centre, as well as improvement of roads.
