Rulers of the Planet are an Irish punk-rock band based in Cork. They are currently signed to German label ZYX.
Their debut album "In 30 Minutes We Destroy the Earth" was received positively by critics (‘Album of the Week’ – Irish Independent

Two founder members of the group, Mick Hayes and Niall Lynch, were previously part of 1990s punk-rock band The Shanks (alongside Eoin "Stan" O'Sullivan, who later formed Stanley Super 800
