where he finished in 9th position. At the 2008 World Championship in Terrigal he reached the 33rd place. Later that year at the European Championship in Nieuwpoort
he finished in 8th position and because there were three British
competitors in front of him he finished at the 6th position in the cleaned up rankings. Due to this result he qualified himself for the 2008 Summer Olympics
