1987 to 1999

In 1987 he began his career hosting a series of TV shows devoted to young audiences. He hosted over 4000 live show hours on TV, including during various concert and roadshows. In 1990 Carrassi started new work with voice acting and directing in an animated series broadcast by Mediaset. In 1992, he joined , and later became the head of the writers department.

In 1993 he became the executive producer and story writer. He was in charge of localizing the most important properties managed by the network. During this time, he wrote Piccolo Problemi di Cuore, a 61-episode series inspired by Marmalade Boy

2001 to Present
In 2001, Carrassi went back to Italy to be a marketing manager. Later he was promoted to creative director and general manager of Alboran Spa, a Mediolanum Company. There, in 2002, he created the first web TV in Europe powered by Eutelsat and My Virtual Boy. In 2003 he joined Mediafilm Spa, where he started as a creative director and moved to head the marketing and acquisition department of horror movies and animation. In 2005, as general manager, Carrassi created a new distribution project for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Company. He exploited his career in the movie market titles such as Freddy VS Jason, A Home at the End of the World, The Pool, and the complete David DeCoteau movies catalogue. He wrote and produced The Pool 2, the sequel of the German movie The Pool, co-edited Day of the Dead 2, Brotherhood 2, Final Stab
