Ryan Early is a British actor. He has appeared in various roles on TV and theatre but he is best known from his role as young Probationary PC Tom Nicholson in Heartbeat. He was trained at Drama Centre London. He has also appeared in Will Young

. After leaving Drama Centre London he went straight into a role at The Bush for Channel 4 and The Servant at the Lyric Hammersmith
before spending the next couple of years on ITV's Heartbeat. His first feature film Beseme Mucho received the Golden Camera at the Berlin Film Festival and was named Best Picture at the Israel Academy Awards.
After leaving the role of PC Tom Nicholson in Heartbeat, Ryan went on to star in The Shakespeare's Globe
Cupid and Psyche Season. Ryan then went on to perform in Neil Bartlett
's Oliver Twist at the Lyric Hammersmith
which subsesquently toured the UK before returning to London. He has played several roles on television appearing in Casualty

In 2006 Ryan Early played the romantic lead in The Knight of the Burning Pestle at the Barbican

Theatre and returned to the Royal Court
in 2008 to star in Mark Ravenhill's War and Peace for the Latitude Festival
. In 2009 Ryan Early played DCS John Perkins in Eclipse Theatre's production of The Hounding Of Dsvid Oluwale which toured the country before reaching The Hackney Empire
